"If we die and you find this video tape, please tell my family I love them".
Those are my words, caught on videotape during a road trip to Denver with some of my friends. On our trip the check engine light came on. Being five very intelligent girls, we did everything we could think of to rectify this problem. We looked under the hood and checked the fluids. When that didn't work we practically read the owners manual cover to cover. We even called the car rental place and all they said was "Don't worry about it. If it breaks down, we'll come get you". That was comforting. We got to the point where we didn't know what to do, so we continued to drive the car with this light on just waiting for something to go terribly wrong.
Well, the car made it back home and we didn't die. But at least my family can still feel good in knowing that I love them, even though I didn't bequeath any of my possessions to them.
