Ever since TV shows have started to come out on DVD, I have been able to take a walk down memory lane by watching several shows that I used to love when I was young. Many were cartoons, some were sitcoms, others were fast-paced action and some were drama. I have many memories of sitting down before school, after school and at night to watch these TV shows. Some of my favorite TV shows were the ones I used to watch with my dad (and sometimes my mom if she wasn't ironing). To me, there is something about the TV shows from my youth. It's almost as if watching them now helps me to feel young again, and helps me to remember the happy days of my childhood. Though I do enjoy many shows that are on TV now, there just seems to be something different about those that I watched years ago.
I have compiled a list of some of the shows that I often watched, and greatly enjoyed. Some I consider my all-time favorites. So now, in no particular order, I give you my list. In case you want to take a walk down memory lane as well, I have linked them to their theme songs:

Do you have any favorites that aren't on this list? Let me know what they are!

I just love that with how much tv I did watch as a kid and especially during the summertime when I was off school for months on end, there are some (yes more than one)on your list I've never even heard of! How weird is that?
I think that covers almost every show I used to watch adn a few that I didn't. I love finding old clips from some of those shows.
I think you covered all my favorites. I was going to say, "where's Alf", but PHEWWW he was there at the bottom.
I also wanted to make out with Ricky from Silver Spoons. He even came to Castle Dale once to go on a guided hunting tour and signed an autograph that proudly hung in the K Bar K Cafe. No joke (about the autograph or the name of the Cafe).
