Sunday night I went to my parent's house and visited with my family and in the process of that, this darling nephew of mine was telling me all about how his left leg/foot is unlucky. I can't remember everything he told me, but he's done several things just to that particular leg, like stepping on a nail, falling off his bike and tweaking his knee, etc. I think he told me five or six different things. When he finally finished I looked at him and said,"Wow! That leg really is unlucky"
Yeah, it is!" he said.
"Well, maybe we should cut it off..."
Just kidding. He didn't burst into tears. Actually, he didn't even react. I'm not really sure he realized what I said. But his mom and I sure got a laugh!
