Edible Eyeballs...

I made these awesome eyeballs for my family Halloween party this year and they were a hit. So, for those of you who would like to try your hand at making these next year, here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

3.4 oz box of vanilla pudding mix
Jelly Beans (I used black licorice jelly bellies)
LifeSaver Gummies
Plastic Easter Eggs
2 empty egg cartons

Directions:

1. Prepare the pudding according to the package directions. For each eye, fit a jelly bean in the center of a LifeSavers Gummies candy and place it in a plastic egg half.

2. Fill the egg cup with the pudding, then place the egg halves in an egg carton in the freezer until they are firm (about 3 hours).

3. Remove the egg halves from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for about 3 to 5 minutes.

4. With the back of a fork, gently press down on the edge of the pudding, rolling the frozen ball out of the egg cup. If you're not serving them right away, place the eyes in a freezer-safe dish in the freezer until you're ready.

So there you have it! Fun for the kids and simple to make! Recipe makes 24 eyeballs.

Happy Halloween!!!
